According to ESPN, Chicago Bulls' fourth overall pick, Calleb Wilson , stated at a team press conference that he is confident about his rookie season and has set his sights on winning " Rookie of the Year . "

When asked about his expectations for the new season, Wilson stated frankly, " To be honest, I'm looking forward to winning Rookie of the Year . " He added, " I'll train hard and do my best. I feel this team is a great fit for me and matches my vision of the game. "

Wilson repeatedly expressed his ambition on draft night and at the press conference, stating his desire to follow in Michael Jordan 's footsteps and achieve success in Chicago, bluntly stating, " The Bulls already have one of the greatest players in franchise history, now it's time to add another . " He attributed his confidence to his daily training and execution, saying, " Everyone has goals, and striving to be the greatest of all time might sound bold, but that's exactly what I'm aiming for. I don't want to be a mediocre player. "

However, Wilson's college season ended early in March due to a fractured thumb, causing him to miss the NCAA Tournament, limiting his sample size. Despite this, he remains confident in his abilities. " I've played against them all, and everyone knows the results. There's nothing more to say. " He also emphasized that he doesn't care about media rankings. " I'm a competitor, and I'll participate in the Summer League. Whatever it takes to prove I'm on the same level as them, or even better, I'll do it. "
